Emily Sackville-Bryant graduated from York St John University in 2025 with a First Class Honours degree in Physiotherapy and was awarded the Physiotherapy Academic Prize by the Chancellor of the University. She joined the clinic as part of the Graduate Programme, working closely with senior clinicians to develop strong clinical reasoning skills while providing evidence-based physiotherapy care.

Emily is passionate about supporting people to move well and feel confident in their bodies, whether they are recovering from injury, managing persistent pain, or aiming to maintain an active lifestyle. She takes a patient-centred approach, focusing on education, active rehabilitation, and creating clear, achievable treatment plans tailored to individual goals.

Alongside her clinic role, Emily provides pitchside physiotherapy support and sports massage for a local rugby union team, gaining valuable experience in acute injury management and return to play decision-making. Pilates forms a key part of her own movement practice and strongly influence her clinical approach. She is currently working towards her Level 3 Mat Pilates qualification, with a particular focus on developing movement awareness, control, and effective self-regulation strategies.
Personal interests:
On weekends, Emily can usually be found at the side of a rugby union pitch providing pitchside therapy and sports massage to her local team, or in a theatre prepping for the next musical she’s involved with. She’s a big lover of long countryside walks, especially if a pub lunch is included, and is always happy to hear recommendations. Pilates and yoga are a huge part of her life, helping her stay balanced, strong, and sane.
