Pilates Classes
- Centering - The term used to describe your body's centre or 'powerhouse'. Often described as your 'core' or 'trunk stability'.
- Concentration – During Pilates you should concentrate on your body to move in smooth and controlled movements. This improved body awareness.
- Control – Every exercise in Pilates must be done with control. Fundamentally its about you being in control of your body against gravity.
- Flow - Exercises flow and transition from one into another to help build strength, control and stamina.
- Precision - aiming for directed and precise movement with controlled repetition to allow transference into everyday life and activity.
- Breathing - This focuses on coordinating breathing with movement and allows effective and optimal use and control of your muscles and movement.
